£48,519 - £53,976 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated lawyer to join Guildford's dynamic legal team. 

Providing legal advice and support to the Council the work will cover a wide range of matters from working on major projects and contracts, procurement and commercial transactions to providing planning advice and drafting s106 agreements.  As part of the in-house legal team you will have the opportunity to help to shape the future for Guildford whilst working on development projects and advising on governance matters.

The legal team at Guildford has a real team spirit and works closely together, regularly holding social events to bring the team together and celebrate their hard work and successes throughout the year.  It is also a diverse team with a wide range of experience, and you will have the opportunity to grow and expand your knowledge with the support of the team whilst providing mentoring and guidance to colleagues.    

You must be a qualified solicitor, barrister, legal executive (Fellow) or equivalent and whether you are experienced in these areas, newly qualified or seeking to move from an alternative legal specialism we are keen to hear from you.  Although you will be based from our offices close to Guildford Town Centre we offer flexible working and will consider both full time and part time applications.
